Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora Desert

Your adventure begins in Marrakech. Where you’ll set out on a scenic drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. As you ascend winding roads, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the rugged terrain, Berber villages, and lush valleys. En route, you’ll make stops at various points of interest, including the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which is a high mountain pass with unparalleled vistas.

Descending from the mountains, you’ll reach the city of Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its prominent film studios. Here, you can visit the historic Kasbah Taourirt, an architectural gem that once belonged to the Glaoui family.

Afterwards, your journey continues to the serene Draa Valley, a lush oasis known for its palm groves and traditional Berber villages. You’ll pass through the town of Agdz and the stunning Tamnougalt Kasbah, providing an insight into the region’s rich history.

Finally, you’ll arrive in the desert town of Zagora, a gateway to the Sahara.
